My first viral video!
My intention with Lala and Company has always been to use it as a platform for promoting beautiful living. This included selling art. Art produced by members of my own family as well as other artists I meet.
My middle son, Zach, suggested I start doing some fashion reels “As a way to grow our audience” – So I did.
The videos that preceded this one, would typically get 250 – 300 views within in few days.
Then this one posted – and somehow it really struck a cord!
It first went viral on TikTok and then the same happened on Facebook. Combined views are well over 2 million now, and our Facebook followers grew from 2,500 to over 50,000 in just over three weeks.
So, it became clear that there is an audience interested in fashion for women over 50 – and I decided to continue making reels and shorts (with the occasional longer videos).
The feedback is amazing and the followers continue to grow.
My husband and I have been in business for ourselves most of our working lives – and with the activities related to Lala and Company, we can honestly say that in this venture, we are having the most fun ever!
