My life’s journey unfolds from the captivating landscapes of South Africa, where I was born and raised.
High school marked the beginning of my photographic adventure, training alongside a seasoned professional. Following that, I honed my skills as a military photographer for two impactful years. Next, I earned a diploma in Hotel Management and enjoyed serving as the chairman of the Hotel School wine club – really getting to know the amazing wine industry in South Africa.
My passion for the visual arts led me into starting a calendar publishing business that still operates in South Africa today.
In 1989, a delightful twist awaited me as I tied the knot with a Texan beauty, Laura Jones. Together, we planted roots in the charming city of Cape Town, South Africa, welcoming three wonderful boys into our lives.
Fast forward to 2001, and a new chapter beckoned as our family embraced a relocation to the vibrant city of Austin, Texas.
Fueled by an entrepreneurial spirit, I delved into the Home Improvement business in 2013, focusing on Kitchen and Bathroom remodeling in the heart of Austin, and it turned out to be a resounding success. In 2021, my journey took an exciting turn as I brought my expertise to Georgia, seamlessly transitioning into the Residential HVAC industry.
Beyond my business ventures, I’m also an active Amazon Influencer and Creative Assistant for Lala and Company, contributing content covering gadgets, lifestyle, and travel. Another passion of mine is taking to the skies. I’m an FAA Certified Private Pilot.
